Delivery DriverVan's Home Center is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you are a key member of our Warehouse team. You are responsible for delivering a variety of home furnishings and appliances to our clients. This position is right for you if you are reliable, hard-working, self-motivated, and able to work well within a team. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.Responsibilities:Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routesInstallation of home appliancesExude the utmost respect for customers and their homes/personal property, and take all precautions to avoid damages during delivery and/or installationFollow route and scheduleLoad, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle as neededAbility to operate forklifts and pallet jackFollow DOT regulations and safety standardsMust be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no CDL required)Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen1 Year delivery driving experience ideal but not requiredExperience or knowledge in the plumbing, electrical and/or HVAC tradesAbility to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express vanExcellent organizational skillsMust be able to work well with othersMust have excellent time management skillsAbility to communicate effectively with customers, and maintain effective relationships with warehouse team membersAssisting in the Warehouse as needed, under the direction of the Warehouse and/or Operations managerBenefits/Perks:Health Insurance401K With Company MatchPaid vacation after 6 months of employmentEmployee discountStructured bonus schedule based on performanceOutside tips from customers when freely offered by the customer (tips are NOT asked for or expected by Van's Home Center delivery teams)Opportunities for growth and pay raisesGreat working environment with a family owned companyCompensation: $40,000.00 - $72,000.00 per yearVan's Home Center in Auburn has been a family owned and operated business since 1973.
