    Website FAQs

    Got any questions?

    How do these plans work?

With Medicare, you have options in how you get your coverage. After enrolling, you’ll need to determine your preferred method of receiving Medicare coverage. There are 2 main ways, original Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

    How to get started?

Get information on what services we may offer and enroll for the program. Basic eligibility criteria is as follow

    • People who are 65 or older
    • Certain people with disabilities
    • People with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD)

What are the different parts of Medicare?

The different parts of Medicare help cover specific services:

    • Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)
    • Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
    • Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance)
    • Part B covers certain doctors’ services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage)
    • Helps to cover the cost of prescription drugs (including many recommended shots or vaccines).

Benefits May Include Supportive Care And Treatment

Medicare can offer supportive care and treatment for beneficiaries. From helping with mental health, to providing additional benefits for medical, hospitalization, and prescription drug coverage, Medicare has you covered.

Acknowledging your need for additional benefits to help with your overall health can be the first step to a happy life.

    Qualifications for Special Enrollment

Medicare enrollment varies depending on an individual’s situation. Because not everyone is ready to retire by age 65, there is a special enrollment period for people who do not fall into that category. There are also other circumstances for which a special enrollment period may apply when it comes to Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans.

    1. Original Medicare offers a special enrollment period for those who have employer health coverage past age 65.
    2. The special enrollment period lasts for 60 days.
    3. There is also a special enrollment period for Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare prescription drug plans.
    4. Depending on the type of Medicare coverage you’re interested in, the special enrollment period process may vary.

Not everyone automatically needs to enroll in Medicare when they turn 65. If you or your spouse is still working and has employer health coverage, you may want to wait until that employment ends to enroll. At that point, you can enroll during what is known as the special enrollment period (SEP), without penalty.
